Olympus
Built in the centre of Stoke on Trent adjacent to the A500, this modern 70,000sqft Engineering works was commissioned by our friend and Managing Director of Olympus Engineering Mr Neil Blood. The project had challenging ground conditions but has become one of the iconic buildings on the landscape of Stoke on Trent and a legacy to our dear friend Neil who was tragically killed in an accident whilst on holiday.

James Kent Ltd
We were instructed by James Kent Ltd to build a new warehouse facility for their expanding business. We overcame very poor ground conditions to complete this challenging scheme within budget and on time. We have since returned to extend and adapt other buildings on the site.

House Building & Renovation

Holland Construction has vast experience in House Building and has developed a number of schemes from “one-off” Private Houses to multiple Property Developments along with significant house refurbishments.

Cheshire
A 6000sqft new build in the Cheshire countryside with design features dating back from the well-known and respected Architect Sir John Soanes. Period features brought right up to date made this beautiful property with associated garages and walled gardens.

Endon
Whilst still being occupied, this was a challenging renovation and extension starting with taking down the whole outer blockwork skin of the property and re-building in brick. An extension, basement and garden room soon followed with substantial external works, paving and terraces.

Biddulph Park
This was an interesting challenge to completely refurbish and extend a family home originally built in 1950. The renovation included a new roof covering, doors and windows and delightful rear garden room, along with a new detached garage and new terrace and paving.

Bridgemere
We have completed a number of schemes at one of the county’s leading Garden Centres at Bridgmere. From adapting existing buildings to constructing new commercial buildings and associated parking alterations to assist this centre to rapidly expand.

Buckingham
Following our success at Grosvenor Garden Centre in Chester we were awarded the contract to significantly expand the Garden Centre buildings at the family owned Garden Centre at Buckingham. New retail areas were constructed along with a new coffee shop and large car park.

Coffee Shops
Numerous Coffee Shops have been incorporated into Garden Centre Schemes we have been involved with from initial construction to the final fit out

Commercial

We have recently completed ‘The Venue’ at Moddershall Oaks, Nr Stone. ‘The Venue’ is an extension at one of Britains most exciting Spa resorts, providing multi function space to cater for weddings and conferences.

Designed with a contemporary feel, materials of the highest quality and state of the art lighting, sound and technology features were incorporated to create one of the finest and most luxurious purpose built venues in the region. We battled against one of the worst ever winters to complete the build ‘on time’ for a pre-booked wedding.

Church Buildings

Holland Construction has vast amounts of experience in the development of Church Buildings, working with many Church denominations and as a result we have a large and successful portfolio.

Many of our projects have been nominated or received awards for the quality of workmanship including the English Martyrs Church in Biddulph (right), which achieved nominations from the ‘Brick Development Association’ for quality of brickwork.

Community Hub
New modular buildings were used at Holy Trinity Macclesfield to form new Church offices, toilets and meeting rooms. This Design and Build scheme included a turnkey package from foundations to floor coverings.

Ball Green
New Methodist Church was built at Ball Green, Stoke-on-Trent, comprising of a new Church along with toilets, kitchen and community rooms.

Church Extension
New Church of England Church Hall and ancillary rooms were constructed at Newchapel, Stoke-on-Trent.

Design & Build

From it’s initial inception through to completion, Holland Construction can transform a clients brief from a vacant plot of land into a companies headquarters.

The project highlighted in the gallery opposite for a new Training and Office Headquarters for Parry and Associates at Whitebridge Industrial Estate in Stone was awarded a prestigious award from The Federation of Master Builders, Commercial Project of the Year for the Midlands Region. The Design and Build contract was for a high class, bespoke Facility providing office and Training facilities.

The award ceremony was hosted by T.Vs, Property Ladder, Presenter Sarah Beeny at Londons Royal Lancaster Hotel. We were nominated for the award by our client, Mike Parry who is highly delighted with the completed building. He said I was very impressed by the breadth of experience and performance of Holland Construction. Their standard of professionalism and their approachability made it so easy for me to liase with them. I always felt confident in their ability to successfully manage the project and deliver on time and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Goodwin Engineering Ltd
We were awarded a Design and Build contract by Goodwin to design and construct a range of Industrial/Office buildings adjacent to their existing production facility,  comprising four self-contained units all with offices, toilets and production areas.
